Doctor Luke was a very large
buck who excelled in strength of general appearance being long and level over
the top line, very smoothly blended throughout. He had tremendous width
across the loin and over the rump. He had great spring of rib, excellent
shoulders, coupled with great dairy character and beautiful breed character.
He was also very wide and open in the
escutcheon. At nearly 8 years of age,
Doctor Luke was a very powerful buck who still stood with
great strength of feet and legs and excellent rear leg
angulation. With his great depth of pedigree, he was everything you would
want in a buck, and especially so, since his daughters are freshening with
beautiful mammaries and excellent conformation.
His sire *B Price O The Field
Luke produced two National Reserve Grand Champions and many other champion
daughters. POTF Luke's dam, GCH Price O The Field Lizzie won many Best
doe in Show and Best Udder awards. At the 1982 Nationals she was reserve best
udder and placed 3rd in her class. Doctor Luke's dam, GCH POTF
Dutch Belle 5*M won many BDIS and BOB awards and boy did she milk! Dutch
Belle was the grand daughter of two Reserve National Champions, GCH Price
O The Field Dutchess and GCH Price O The Field Princess.
CH*B

His
daughters excel in general appearance and have lovely dairy
character. Luke consistently stamps his style, with beautiful wide
level rumps and lots of width in the escutcheon. They have lovely
breed character and are freshening with beautiful udders. You get it all with
this buck! One of his daughters, CH Pruittville’s
Magnolia 92EEEE has Best Doe In Show numerous times and won the INBA
Nubian Specialty Show in Texas! At the National Show Magnolia was 6th place in
the 5&6 year old class and 4th as a 7 year old. Another daughter, CH
Pruittville's Honeysuckle 91EEEE, finished her championship along with BDIS
awards. Honeysuckle was 11th place as 2 year old and 2nd place
4 year old at the Nationals. While yet another daughter,
