Mr. Goodbar is a wildly colored red spotted buck.  So far, he has been generous with spots on his kids.  He stands tall for his age and has good depth of body and excellent spring of ribs.  His topline is almost flawless and his sharp withers exemplifies his dairy character.  No worries with pasterns on this guy as he stands strong with excellent feet and legs 

So far Mr. Goodbar is proving to be a great sire with an exceptional amount of Ec kids appraised this year. A breeder of 30 years told me "It is amazing for a buck to have that many Ec kids in one season". We look forward to seeing his daughters freshen!

A little about Nitro's dam:

Honeysuckle is a beautiful long, tall doe with an exceptional long, flat rump that is level from thurl to thurl.    Her sire, CH *B Pruittville's Doctor Luke EX91EEE consistently throws this type of offspring. Honeysuckle is extremely dairy but powerful, with a long slender neck.   Her mammary is nice with a smooth fore.  She had a nice, steady lactation and milked for 365 days as a first freshening two year old and continues to show a great willingness to milk as she matures. Her gentle personality makes her a pleasure while milking or around the barn.  Her dam, GCH Pruittville's Posie 1*M EX90 was one of our best brood does having also produced CH Pruittville's Nantucket EX90 who was the 3rd place 4 year old at the Nationals.   Honeysuckle appraised EC as a junior kid and easily earned her dry leg with a Best Junior Doe in Show.  In the two 07 Spring shows that we were able to compete in, Honeysuckle was 2X 1st, 2X Grand, 1X BOB and 1X BDIS.  In 2008, Honeysuckle was Best of Breed and then Best Doe In Show in Little Rock Arkansas over 360 entries!

A little about Buck Rogers's dam:

Star just keeps getting better with age.  For the 2007 District 6 LaMancha Specialty, Star was part of the
1st place Best Three Females along with herdmates Sugar and Splenda.  Due to a serious bout of mastitis in late 2008 Star has lost the use of the right side of her udder. Although the lose of this one side Star still competed in a one day milk test milking 9.5# with a butter fat of 2.8%, just being 2 points shy of getting her milk star.
